ForgeMail operates the marketing site at forgemail.app and the product at app.forgemail.app (together, the “Service”). This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. It is a product-accurate summary, not a substitute for legal advice.
The Service is currently offered to businesses located in the United States (see the Terms of Use). Account and workspace data are processed in the United States on infrastructure we operate and on U.S.-region cloud services we use to run the product (including Amazon SES). If you are outside the United States, do not use the Service until we expand availability.
You sign in with Google Identity Services. When you authenticate, we receive and store information needed to create and maintain your account, including your name, email address, and Google subject identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.
If you apply for a Founding Workspace via forgemail.app/apply, the form submits your answers to our application inbox at hello@forgemail.app. We use the details you send (company domain, work email, provider, volume, and related answers) only to evaluate and onboard beta applicants. We do not sell that information.
When you use the product, we process data you and your workspace create, including:
Workspace data is scoped to the account that owns it. Access for other users is limited to approved membership on that account.
We use the information above to:
On app.forgemail.app, we record product analytics events such as
sign-in, domain-setup step views, DNS copy actions, verification outcomes,
and test-send results. Events include an opaque user and account identifier
and coarse properties (for example step name or provider id). We do
not send email bodies, subjects, recipient addresses, AI
draft text, DNS secret values, or physical mailing addresses to the
analytics processor.
When AI features are configured, message content and related workspace context may be sent to an AI provider to generate assistive triage, summaries, drafts, and knowledge-base embeddings for your account. ForgeMail does not use customer email content to train ForgeMail’s own models. Provider processing is limited to the API use we configure and is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
We rely on a small number of providers to run the Service:
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy, limited to what is needed for the Service.
After you sign in, the product sets a session cookie on
app.forgemail.app so you stay authenticated. Product analytics
events are associated with your signed-in user and account identifiers; we
do not use advertising cookies. The marketing site at
forgemail.app is static HTML and does not set advertising or
analytics cookies today.
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Automated purge of message history on a fixed schedule is not a current product guarantee. If you want to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your account, email hello@forgemail.app.
